
Dr. Neven Akšamija is an Adjunct Instructor at the International University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Law, in the scientific area of State Law. He has a Doctoral Degree in Law, earned at the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo, with a thesis in Constitutional and Administrative Law. He is academically interested in Constitutional, Administrative, International, Labor, and partially in Civil and Criminal Law. He has been a corresponding Member of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences since 2024 and a member of the Academy's Legal Committee.
Professionally, he is an experienced managerial civil servant with a demonstrated long history of working in the government administration industry, covering over 20 years of experience in managerial roles, including more than 14 years as Director of the Civil Service Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently, he serves as Assistant Director for Legal, HR, General, and Accounting Affairs at the Labor and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He is an author or co-author of more than 20 scientific, reviewing, and professional articles, as well as conference papers published in respectable or well-known publications.
